What a contrast! On the one hand there's the Christian message: "It was for freedom that Christ set us free!" On the other hand, there's the legalism of man-made religion, and Paul says these legalists should go ahead and make themselves "sterile" (i.e., castrate themselves) so they would be consistent with their sterile message!

This week we study the difference between Christian freedom and the legalism of man-made religion.
